Sterling - For those of you visiting the site for the first, or a few times. We're having some signup issues and even though it shows very few people signed up, we actually have a large gathering on a facebook event page. For more information, or to "signup" if you can't log into the site, please click this link:
https://www.facebook.c...!/events/143792639038594/
That will provide you with a forum with which to voice opinions and ask questions as well as say if you're attending or not. Keeping in mind, if you're signed up on the site, or click as attending you'll get the pre-registered price of $10. If not, you'll be charged $15 at the door.

Sterling - Just as an added update I'm going to post some more information on what to expect from this years LAN. Please see below:
Kansas LAN VII
http://www.kansaslan.com
We're having our our 7th event January 13th through the 15th of 2012.
This year we're featuring a speedy check in where we follow you to the table where you are going to setup and check you in via tablet. This will allow you to signup on ALP quickly and easily on arrival without standing in line at the door.
We're going to have side tournaments to fill in the dead spots in gaming, this year we're going to do the Ethernet Jump Rope again, as well as a saltine

cracker eating competition to eat a set number of saltines in a certain time frame, and possibly another server toss.

For added entertainment we're going to have angry computers (think of Angry Birds with computer parts) you'll launch computer parts out of a sling-shot type device and try to destroy other computers as best possible. A lounge type area will be setup to allow gamers to sit and watch TV episodes, movies, and other videos via a TV hooked to a Playstation connected to media servers.
We're going to be hosting a tournament in LOL as well was MW3 this year. These aren't set in stone, if gamers wish to compete otherwise we'll be more than happy host something for you. Generally we play any and all games, we don't say no to much.
Our site is currently malfunctioning and we haven't had the time to diagnose the problem. If you wish to signup please check our facebook event page at: https://www.facebook.c...s/143792639038594/?ref=ts Keep in mind if you are marked as "going" on the facebook event page we will give you a $10 entrance fee. If you are not signed up on the site (if you somehow managed to get logged in lol) or on the facebook event page, it's $15 at the door.
For our underage gamers you're welcome to attend but please check our website for a minor consent form.
Can't wait and hope to see many of you soon!

STERLING - We aren't dead, after our regularly scheduled lull in the action we're back and in the works preparing for the next LAN. This year we've got some new ideas, and we're also considering a new twist on gaming that we never have before. Don't mind the fact Toby purchased a 12 core server with 24 GB of RAM for us to use, we'll get to that gem later. I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know we're working on this next LAN January 13th - 15th 2012 and we're looking forward to it. If you have any questions feel free to visit the
Venue page, or the
FAQs section. If that still doesn't answer your question hit us up on the
Contact page. We're also very active on facebook at the
Kansas LAN LLC page.

STERLING - Its getting down to the wire before we go live with Kansas LAN VI! We have checked the weather forecast and show that Friday should be 40 and sunny so we have decided
NOT to cancel and go with the inclement weather date. We do urge you to drive safely en route to our two solid days of LAN gaming fun! We have goodies from all the sponsors, 1000' of Cat5e cable, an ungodly amount of extension cord, and plenty of energy to waste so we're looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!!

STERLING - For the time being the signup portion of the website is at least functional. You are able to sign up, and pay via the website. There will be nothing showing up automatically that you have signed up. I will have to post manually who all has signed up on the signup page until we get something more automated.
You have to be a registered user to access the signup page.
You MUST click the link AFTER you fill the form out and click "go" to pay with Paypal (if you are choosing to pay online with paypal, if not you may navigate elsewhere). PLEASE include your gamer name so we know who the payment is coming from.
